Maggie was very listless and lethargic and she was falling over for no apparent reason. We had not long moved to the area and hadn't taken her to a local vet so went to the phone book and chose Otaki Vet Centre. We made an appointment, were seen that day, had blood samples taken and received the results that day. We went back the next day for a consultation and were told of our options. She was then given medication and started to improve. She needed followup tests to monitor her condition and further steroid injections. We were due to go overseas the next week which was a concern to us but the vet went to the kennels where Maggie was staying and gave her the injection she needed. We were very grateful to her for this as It gave us peace of mind while on holiday. We are still treating Maggie for kidney disease now which is manageable, not terminal. I would highly recommend this vet clinic and will continue to have Maggie treated there in the future.
