Izard Park

Last reviewed 10th December 2008

Address:Wilton Road,
Wilton
Proximity To Traffic:On a busy road with low fencing
Dog Access:Off Leash
Parking:No
Rubbish Bins:Yes
Playground:Yes
Lighting:No

Large flat park with a good community of dog owners using the park regularly. The park is also used by children and families - there is a old playground with slide, swings and a seesaw, as well as a basketball hoop. Wilton road is busy and while there is a low fence it isn't enough to keep a dog in. There is also a bus terminal across the road.

“Average park”

Pros: Has childrens play area

Cons: Close to a road with low fencing

This is a good park if your dog is obedient. The low fence runs along a bend in the road and is hard to see traffic from some parts to cross the road. The fence is easily jumpable. There is an old style play area, backboard and basketball hoop. Reasonably well used by dog owning locals and school children practicing sports, flying kites etc.
