Pros: Easy to use, Durable, Seemingly painless for the dog
Cons: Dog has managed to remove it a few times. Dog seems to get a little itchy from wearing it.
We have a medium sized dog who packs a massive drag when he smells something good.
The gentle leader has not eliminated the drag entirely (damn stubborn dog), but it has reduced it drastically and we have been enjoying our walks for the last few years.
One of the best dog-related investments we have made - I would not go back to a normal collar again.
When my kids are a bit older I would even consider letting them walk the dog using a Gentle Leader.

Pros: Stops dog from pulling you when walking, easy to use
Cons: Sometimes strangers think it is a muzzle
I could not live without my gentle leader...well my dog would never get walked anyway! I used to really struggle with my dog pulling me when walking and would end up contantly yanking her and getting really frustrated. The gentle leader stops her pulling which means she walks at my pace. It has become even more important now that I have children and am often pushing a buggy as well as holding the lead. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has similar issues.
