The Burdans Gate walkway goes through private farmland. As of 2007, dogs must always be on lead and annually during the spring lambing season from 1 September there is a total dog ban along the walkway. These new restrictions are strictly enforced. The Burdens Gate walk is an easy walk along the coastline to the lighthouse at Pencarrow Head. Suitable for buggies.
