“Great vet - very humane in a tricky situation”

Cons: A bit pricey perhaps?

We visited the vet at Animalz last year when our Abbysinian was having some digestive problems.

After a course of steroids and low allergy food, the vet discovered a lump in his intestine. They explored the next day and found cancerous growths all through his digestive system.

We were called during the operation and given the option to put him down or take him home for a few days. We did the latter - we couldn't bear to say goodbye so soon - and the vet visited a couple of days later to put him down at home.

The vets here are professional, extremely communicative and flexible. The home visit was particularly sensitive and they carried this out with full recognition of what we were going through. They were also really good with our two year old as she accompanied us when we went in for appointments.

The only niggle is that this was expensive but I think in this case you can say that we got what we paid for.
