Guide to writing a review

To make sure your review is posted, DogMog recommends that members follow these review guidelines. This will enable both pet owners and businesses to get the most benefit from the feedback given on DogMog.

  • Always remain polite and civil.

  • DogMog will not print reviews that are malicious, contain obscenities, personal insults or are all in CAPS.

  • Reviews should relate to the reviewer's experience only. Please do not write a review on behalf of someone else (unless they are dictating to you). A review is about what happened to you and your pet, not something you heard from another pet owner.

  • Stick to the facts. We understand that your pet's care (or lack of it) can stir up strong emotions, but try to step away from your feelings and write the review objectively.  It will be more helpful to others and the business concerned if your review is balanced, fair and factual.

  • Only one review per person per service, product or park is allowed - although multiple reviews may be allowed if new information has been provided.

  • To ensure high quality and useful reviews, please explain in detail your experience with the service provider, product or park and walk. What did you like or dislike about your experience and why?

  • Questionable or suspicious reviews may be verified by email.

  • If you write a negative review, why not try to think of a positive experience you had and write about that too? There are so many great pet professionals and products out there that deserve to be talked about.
